The General Manager – EP will report directly to the Managing Director of UPMSCL. Responsibilities include:

- Preparing annual procurement plan for medical equipment
- Forecasting budgetary requirements
- Ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines
✔ 2. Vendor & Equipment Management
- Conducting equipment gap analysis across health facilities
- Coordinating with vendors and assessing technical specifications
- Shortlisting suitable suppliers based on capability & performance
✔ 3. Bid Evaluation & Financial Opening
- Preparing draft tender documents & evaluating bids
- Coordinating with Evaluation Committees
- Ensuring cost-effective procurement decisions
✔ 4. Contract Management
- Issuing Notification of Award (NOA)
- Monitoring contractual compliance
- Ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance
✔ 5. Performance Monitoring & Documentation
- Evaluating supplier performance
- Maintaining equipment databases for all health facilities
- Resolving procurement-related complaints and grievances
✔ 6. Stakeholder Coordination
- Working with the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare
