Core Responsibilities:
- Materials, components, sub-assemblies aur full robots ka performance, durability & environmental testing lead karna
- Robot-specific custom test fixtures, instrumentation & automated testing systems design & develop karna
- Failure analysis, performance validation & system limit identification through statistical methods
- Test insights ke basis par hardware & software teams ko improvement recommendations dena
- Real-world extreme conditions ko lab me recreate karke robot reliability ensure karna
Required Hard Skills:
- Mechanical/electrical testing with DAQ & advanced sensors:
IMU, load cells, joint encoders, torque sensors, accelerometers, thermal sensors, depth cameras - Statistical analysis & experimental design
- Test automation programming: Python / MATLAB / C++
- Materials characterization:
Fatigue, stress analysis, thermal cycling, vibration analysis, environmental exposure - Custom test fixtures & rapid prototyping
- Robotics systems understanding for performance metrics & failure mode analysis
